In this new phase, there are some major changes in Hashtagger that we’ve to announce to you.

1. Fairdrops

You’ve probably seen many blockchain related airdrops that promise big rewards, including high-end cars etc. to the participants of an airdrop.

Have you ever wondered whether they choose their winners in a truly random manner or if the process is not as transparent and unbiased as it should be?

‘Fairdrops’ is fair airdrops. It ensures that the participants can clearly see whether or not the winners were chosen in a random manner.

The fairness algorithm uses a statistical technique called SRS( Simple Random Sample) and one can improve one’s chances of winning by holding more MOOO tokens in the wallet through which they participate.

The code for this algorithm has been made public.

2. Smoother onboarding for all

You’ll now see a new card, that’s meant for the blockchain companies that want to do campaigns on Hashtagger.com.

That’s right! now anybody can make a campaign through easy steps directly on the platform.

And since the campaigns on our platform will be provably fair, do encourage your favorite projects to conduct their airdrops on Hashtagger for greater transparency!

The steps above are carefully designed for a smoother onboarding process and to help the project in making a campaign including a banner for their social media promotion.

3. Changes in the Hashtagger team

With the above two changes, Hashtagger will be focusing on helping more people and projects conduct their airdrops in a fair manner.

This has been a major phase so far, and with the end of the last phase, our co-founder Lucas Grondin will be leaving us from July end.

We will however, be expanding our team too. We’re glad to welcome our latest team member Benjamin Lim who’ll be joining us as the Business Development Lead in Singapore.
